DEFINITIONS

2.1 EMPLOYEES
Workers employed by the company or any subcontractors
2.2 INJURY AND ILLNESS PREVENTION PLAN
Written plan developed and implemented by parsons and the subcontractor to ensure a safe and healthful place of employment
2.3 PROJECT FOREMAN
Employees designated by the subcontractors, as a first line supervisor
2.4 PROJECT MANAGER
Project manager employed by, and assigned by, Al HUSAM and subcontractor to manage a specific project
2.5 PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT
Project manager employed by, and assigned by, Al HUSAM and subcontractor to manage a specific project
2.6 PPE
Personal Protective Equipment. Equipment designed to provide an employee with some degree of protection against incidental or accidental injury. Personal Protective Equipment is not designed nor intended to replace or take the place of Engineered Safety Controls.
2.7 SITE SAFETY REPRESENTATIVE
Subcontractor designated representative(s) responsible for promoting health and safety policies. The person shall be on site when work is in progress
2.8 SUBCONTRACTOR
Any individual, firm, co-partnership, corporation or combination thereof who has entered into a contract with Al HUSAM or their subcontractor for a particular project, and whose employees are actively performing such work at the Project Sites
